The ocean teaches us to go with the flow. Release attachments to what once was or is and be open to new amazingness. Allow the waves of life to wash away what no longer serves you at any level in your life and be open to newness. When you are open to change in small or large ways, then your career will take on a life of it’s own.
“Follow your bliss and the Universe will open doors for you where there were only walls.” – Joseph Campbell
One thing I love about the sea is that it’s ever changing. When I worked on boats in particular, people were always asking if I ever grew tired of my job. Absolutely not! The ocean is a magical world where every day is an new adventure. When we surrender to the flow of life then the magic can flow through us. There is a distinct pattern to the ocean and all sea life, yet it is ever changing and no two days are ever the same.
Allow openness, expansion, and change to flow into your life and career. Enjoy the ride!
Definition of Class Act: Someone who shows impressive and stylish excellence.
Once you decide to no longer allow disrespect into your life, you can serve the world with love and the Universe will provide exactly what you need in a higher quality of life. Become that class act and share your gifts with the world!
“A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.” – Coco Chanel
To me, quality is everything. Those with style, grace, classiness, and love I believe will truly conquer the world. Selfishness and facades abound in today’s consumerism society and realness is a quality that is sorely lacking. How much time do you spend in really listening to others and adding to the quality of life rather than zipping on through?
Dance is one of the best ways to express your heart and soul, and have fun ~ besides swimming with dolphins of course! Being an entrepreneur is also a dance. The key is to live from our hearts and let our logical mind take a back seat. In dance, it’s passion that fuels the performance. You can be a great dancer, but without passion you’ll never really create that shazaam impact.
The same can be said in life and your career. When you’re first learning to dance, you have to think about the steps and rhythm, feeling somewhat robotic maybe even making mistakes. Then somehow you tap into the rhythm and the dance dances you. This is the magic space, where you really stand out and shine. In surfing it’s known as the sweet spot, when you come one with your board and glide the slide of the wave.
In life, I’ve found that there is always something we can learn in any situation. The key is to be honest, open minded, and willing to see it! There are two sides to every coin and as Napoleon Hill states, “Every adversity carries within it the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit.”
Being willing to face and let go of what no longer serves us or change and grow to the next level, doesn’t mean we have to like it, but it does mean we’ve made the decision to see something in a NEW way. This always takes courage. In my own experience, it’s so much easier to focus on the negative aspects. The positive aspects take work! Take a look for yourself and see how keen you are to be centered on positivity, success, and happiness all the time? Ask yourself how much time you spend seeing the good in life, others, and especially within yourself?
Complaining, worry, and fear can somehow become comfortable and seem to be the “norm” in the world. To “want” to be successful, and taking the road to your happy destiny, now that takes true courage and perseverance.
“Do not follow where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
I believe one of the keys to life is balance. In order for balance to happen you must be willing, honest with yourself, and open minded to possibilities. We also need to listen to our hearts, trusting ourselves at all times! Our needs must be met in order to provide the world with all our amazingness and this involves faith and service.
“All the adversity I’ve had in my life, all my troubles and obstacles, have strengthened me… you may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth meat be the best thing in the world for you.” – Walt Disney
BE OF SERVICE AND BE FREE!
This is not care taking, this is a deeper soul giving, really living your authentic sSelf as a service to the world. Be honest, real, and take time to truly listen and care.

“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” – Walt Disney
“Without commitment the Universe cannot bring forth the events we need to realize our dreams.” – Debbie Ford
I recently returned from French Polynesia where I guided Ashlee, a local artist and massage therapist from Hawaii, to swim with the South Pacific Humpback Whales! I’ve been journeying to the South Pacific for the last 6 years to witness and share the breathtaking beauty of being in the ocean with wild whales. This had been a dream of Ashlee’s for a very long time and it was such a pleasure to see her experience some truly epic encounters with the whales!
On our first day on the boat, we were greeted by an over zealous baby whale! This baby was so playful and loved a game of chase! He was not shy at all and really enjoyed swimming around us, even got some fin-to-fin action! Swimming back to the boat, he would follow us, eager for more playtime! We also came across a whale who was singing his little heart out about 40 feet under us while we floated on the surface, feeling the sound vibrations echo in the sea all around us. We also met two whales who gracefully swam back and forth with us as an underwater dance. This was so special and we felt so lucky to be with these two whales by ourselves and no other boats around!
