Tis the season to be holly and jolly! These are a few of our favorite things – dancing sugar plum fairies, sparkles, shimmer, snow angels, snowflakes, surf, whale song, dolphin kisses, snowmen, chocolate kisses, Christmas Carols, elves, gnomes, spirited smiles, tinsel, stars, and more! Santa Claus is one of the best in making dreams come true and all the elves are hard at work up at the North Pole creating magic for children and adults worldwide!
Magic is real. Kids know this which is one of the reasons dolphins have such an affinity for children. When we as adults awaken to the wonder in the world within and all around us, we reawaken to our innate sense of being and connection to the Divine.
We in Mermaid Land believe in making dreams come true and the dolphins, whales and sea life are busy whistling and clicking to wish you the most amazing and infinite possibilities as you swim about tour day. The Holiday represents the season of giving and sharing both love and peace, which is in every moment of every day.
Are you ready to say, “Out with the old and in with the Gold?” We, here in Mermaid Town are certainly gearing up for all the new shimmering goodness! In fact, I’d love to share with you specifically a little of my own personal voyage because it’s important to live our teachings. Being not only a firm believer in, but also have had life experience in faith over fear and the miracles that come from listening to our hearts and intuition more than our minds, I want to take you along with me now as I voyage into newness in the hopes that it will bring you the inner strength and courage to listen deeper to your heart and follow the path that God has put you on to shine your light brighter for others. Being a Mermaidpreneur, I certainly run my business much differently from many businesswomen. First and foremost I follow my intuitional guidance even if it doesn’t make logical sense to others or even myself. Being smart and savvy is important, yet that follows intuitive decision making which creates a power packed combination.
Happy Hallows Eve from Under the Sea!
This is such a perfect time to truly embrace life – both the shadows and the light.
“The darker the night, the brighter the stars.” Fyodor Dostoyevsky
We are moving into Holiday Season and each moment is an opportunity to celebrate the dead while dreaming into who you want to become.
How will you tap into the magic of life and your own superpower this season? Innovate with the powers of creativity and fun through costuming and expand into the possibilities of your Brilliance!
“You used to be much more…’Muchier’. You’ve lost your muchness.” – The Mad Hatter to Alice in Alice in Wonderland
Have you lost your muchness?
Have you ever felt a bit too “Real” for this world? Realness is a quality sorely lacking in society and being called “the real deal” myself, it’s sometimes tricky to mix in the material world. To me, realness is being tapped in to the true meaning of life, seeing past the ideas that having things or becoming successful can ever bring true bliss. In order to truly succeed in life, you must be tapped in to what’s real, enabling you to then enjoy this material world on a much deeper level and in every possible way.
“Life is short, break the rules. Forgive quickly, kiss slowly. Love truly.” – Mark Twain
How in love with life and career are you? If you had all the money in the world to be living your dreams, what would you be doing differently? Ask yourself, is it really money that’s stopping you? Oftentimes there are other blocks that prevent us from happiness and offering our gifts fully to the world.
“We experience who we really are, and what it is we’re meant to do, in any moment when we pour our love into the universe.” – Marianne Williamson
If you find yourself losing energy to fulfill your mission, spread across the board in overwhelm then consider how you’ve disconnected. When we are too much in our heads, we lose the balance in life. Just as when we are too much on land and forget about the ocean, which sustains life on land. There’s no words to describe the empowerment of reconnecting the the sea, our ultimate life source, which taps us back into our own hearts and intuitive knowing that guides our true path and purpose.
Definition of Class Act: Someone who shows impressive and stylish excellence.
Once you decide to no longer allow disrespect into your life, you can serve the world with love and the Universe will provide exactly what you need in a higher quality of life. Become that class act and share your gifts with the world!
“A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.” – Coco Chanel
To me, quality is everything. Those with style, grace, classiness, and love I believe will truly conquer the world. Selfishness and facades abound in today’s consumerism society and realness is a quality that is sorely lacking. How much time do you spend in really listening to others and adding to the quality of life rather than zipping on through?
The definition of ambassador is a person who acts as a representative or promoter of a specified activity. So who or what are you an ambassador for? What do you believe so passionately in that you are representing to the world? Whether it’s the ocean, land, people, a product or service, it may even come down to representing the spirit of Aloha. It really is the little things in life that mean everything! There’s nothing like the kindness of a stranger, a smile or laugh to brighten your day. When someone, anyone throughout your day shows true sincerity in caring for you, excellent customer service that gives you that feeling of being supported and well looked after or simply, love. Your spirit and attitude truly makes a difference in all whose lives connect with you. I hope that someday the Aloha spirit will weave into the hearts and minds of people everywhere and awaken the world to our true purpose in life!
So what are YOU waiting for? Dive in to discover your greatness and the amazing abundance life holds for you. the sea truly will set you free!
In life, I’ve found that there is always something we can learn in any situation. The key is to be honest, open minded, and willing to see it! There are two sides to every coin and as Napoleon Hill states, “Every adversity carries within it the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit.”
Being willing to face and let go of what no longer serves us or change and grow to the next level, doesn’t mean we have to like it, but it does mean we’ve made the decision to see something in a NEW way. This always takes courage. In my own experience, it’s so much easier to focus on the negative aspects. The positive aspects take work! Take a look for yourself and see how keen you are to be centered on positivity, success, and happiness all the time? Ask yourself how much time you spend seeing the good in life, others, and especially within yourself?
Complaining, worry, and fear can somehow become comfortable and seem to be the “norm” in the world. To “want” to be successful, and taking the road to your happy destiny, now that takes true courage and perseverance.
“Do not follow where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
This month I want to talk about courage. Recently I had the blessing and privilege to share some magic of the sea with a dear friend of mine who is normally petrified of anything in the ocean! She braved her fears, flew to Hawaii, donned a mask and snorkel for the first time ever and allowed me to guide her into the sea to swim with wild dolphins. She even braved a mermaid ocean swim in a tail without a mask! She was astonished how something that was once so terrifying had become the most amazing thing she’d experienced in her entire life!
There is something so magical and empowering when we walk or swim through our fears and reconnect to the sea which is our ultimate life source.
“Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.” – Nelson Mandela
“Without commitment the Universe cannot bring forth the events we need to realize our dreams.” – Debbie Ford
I recently returned from French Polynesia where I guided Ashlee, a local artist and massage therapist from Hawaii, to swim with the South Pacific Humpback Whales! I’ve been journeying to the South Pacific for the last 6 years to witness and share the breathtaking beauty of being in the ocean with wild whales. This had been a dream of Ashlee’s for a very long time and it was such a pleasure to see her experience some truly epic encounters with the whales!
On our first day on the boat, we were greeted by an over zealous baby whale! This baby was so playful and loved a game of chase! He was not shy at all and really enjoyed swimming around us, even got some fin-to-fin action! Swimming back to the boat, he would follow us, eager for more playtime! We also came across a whale who was singing his little heart out about 40 feet under us while we floated on the surface, feeling the sound vibrations echo in the sea all around us. We also met two whales who gracefully swam back and forth with us as an underwater dance. This was so special and we felt so lucky to be with these two whales by ourselves and no other boats around!
